Library Online Subscriptions - Elementary
Kenosha Unified provides a variety of online subscriptions for students and teachers to use at school or at home. To access these valuable resources go to __**www.kusd.edu**__ and select Library Online (in the blue bar). Select Elementary.

World Book
- Access to World Book Encyclopedia articles, dictionary, maps, pictures, videos and sounds. This is the same information as the print version in the library, only more up to date and interactive.
Britannica Elementary
- This is an easy to read, online version of Encyclopedia Britannica.
CultureGrams
- Kids Edition: Information about countries from a child’s perspective. There is both cultural and geographical information, including history, maps, flags, and images. The States Edition gives facts, symbols and timelines of the 50 U.S. states.
TumbleBook Library
- Collection of animated and talking books. There are also quizzes and games tied to many of the stories. Note: Any books that are AR are noted and include the quiz number.
TumbleReadables
– This is like TumbleBook Library in that it allows students to read books online. However, these are not picture books, they are chapter books. They can be set to be read to you or read independently. In addition, students can change the color themes as well as the text size. Note: This collection also contains books for older readers. Make sure you know what your students are reading.
Pebble Go – A resource of animals for K-2 readers and researchers. This source allows students to search a variety of animals, choose a read aloud capability, watch brief videos, play educational games and collect facts about a specific animal. This source introduces students to information in a database.
Learn 360
Learn 360 contains over 8,300 digital video titles. Using the search box, you can search for videos and audio about different subjects. These videos are designed to stream without having to download, however download is available if you are planning to use the video multiple times.
EBSCOhost
Provides access to online research databases. The databases contain citations, abstracts and many full text articles from magazine, newspaper and journal articles on numerous topics.
NoveList
Novel is a database for fiction. It contains enhanced subject access to over 60,000 fiction titles, reading lists for students, book talks, featured articles and curricular connection articles and full text reviews on many of the titles.
Soundzabound
Royalty free music library for K - 12. This resource contains professionally produced music.
